The Account Executive will be responsible for the day-to-day management of several client accounts as well as their social media presence. This includes strategy and counsel, public relations services, content development/writing for various channels, social media community management, and other marketing communications services.

General Duties

  • Provide strategy and counsel

Near Perfect Media is looking for a seasoned Senior Account Manager with at least 8 years of experience to lead the day-to-day public relations management of client accounts across industries, including automotive, mobility, tech, environment & sustainability, and others. This includes strategic counsel, media relations, content development/writing for various channels, and other marketing communications services.

General Duties

  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic communications/media relations plans (with measurable objectives)
  • Regular client communications and account management
  • Proactively identify and secure media placements
  • Develop content for key messages, talking points, media pitches, press releases, bylines, op-eds, newsletters, websites, social media channels, etc.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts

Experience / Skills Required

  • Eight to 10 years of public relations experience; previous PR agency or corporate communications experience required, preferably in the areas of automotive, mobility and/or technology

  • Proven media relations skills and knowledge of media across the vertical markets of automotive, mobility, technology and sustainability

Community Manager

The Social Media Community Manager will be responsible for aligning client communications, PR and marketing content to create a strong brand narrative and meaningful engagements with users for a number of diverse clients through multiple social media channels.

General Duties

  • Draft, schedule and publish social media content across multiple client channels
  • Key point of contact for moderating and driving positive conversations with the social community
  • Responding to and engaging with social users who interact with client brands
  • Produce insights, ideas, and opportunities gleaned from conversations with clients
  • Learn each client’s social strategies and goals, and execute based on their personality and voice
  • Ensure consistency in social communications
  • Route and escalate appropriate user comments
  • Produce recurring reports on the health of social channels, trending conversations, and general sentiment for clients
  • Assist with after-hours moderation of service-level complaints
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid situation – Bloomfield Hills office and remotely
  • Must have full access to a personal presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn

Experience/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, journalism. advertising or communications

  • Knowledge and experience with Community Management platforms
  • Capable of taking on a voice and tone different than your own
